A true testimony of finding peace.

If you grew up the way I did, in a christian home and around a christian organization, then you’ve probably heard the phrase “I don’t feel at peace about that”. What does that even mean? For me it became a way out of commitments I had made, or bad situations I have gotten myself into. Peace was watered down to a feeling for me. If I didn’t “feel” peace about something I thought it was God’s way of telling me not to do that thing. I don’t deny that there’s definitely situations where God does use our feelings to guide and lead us. But to base all of lives decisions on the feeling of peace isn’t the wisest decision.

I recently went through a very peace-less season. I struggled everyday because I didn’t feel the peace that I thought I needed to be feeling about my situation. I was crying out to God…
